Jon Newbery
Chief Executive Officer
Jon Newbery has 20 years of management, finance, operational, and turnaround experience. He qualified as an accountant with Arthur Andersen in London, before moving to Warsaw, Poland in 1991 to assist in establishing the consultancy’s presence there. Jon moved to Australia in June 2000, where he joined Newport Capital Group as an investment director. While at Newport, Jon worked with young Australian companies advising on fund raising, restructuring and exit opportunities. In 2002, Jon established his own operational consulting business, where he successfully ran a number of early stage technology businesses.
Jon is currently the CEO of Clarity's holding company, Powerlan, which he joined in 2006. In 2009, Jon took on the role as CEO of Clarity.
Jon holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Nottingham (England) and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Andrew Wrigglesworth
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Wrigglesworth has more than 15 years’ experience in senior finance and general management roles, working for global telecommunications organisations including Energis, Cable & Wireless, Vanco and Reliance Globalcom. During his tenures, Andrew has run the General Management of a joint venture between Cable & Wireless and France Telecom in the Pacific region and has managed global international finance, commercial and legal teams throughout Europe and Asia-Pacific. Andrew joined Clarity on March 2010 and is responsible for managing Finance, Human Resources, IT, Legal & Administration.
Andrew has a degree in Politics & Economics from Loughborough University in the UK and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Tony Kalcina
Chief Product Officer
Tony Kalcina is responsible for helping formulate Clarity’s strategic direction and guiding the company’s resources to deliver on that vision.
Tony has 25 years experience in the global telecoms industry. His career includes 10 years at Telstra (OTC) where he started as an R&D Engineer and later held senior roles in Operations, Engineering and IT. Within Telstra he created and led an award winning 80 member operational support systems (OSS) development team. Tony then spent 3 years as an expatriate, initially as GM of IT in a newly established Malaysian telecoms company, and then as the founding CEO of a Malaysian IT company delivering BSS and OSS solutions, growing the business to annual revenues of $90m.
As Founder of Clarity, Tony conceived the Unified Operational Management vision, and led the company as its CEO for its first 10 years of operations - raising capital, growing the company to over 180 staff worldwide with annual revenues of $45m, taking Clarity public on the ASX in 2000 and merging with Powerlan in 2002. In 2002 he was appointed a Director on Powerlan's Board and became Chairman of Clarity in 2004.
Tony has a BE (Electrical Engineering) and BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Physics from the University of Sydney.

Christopher Smith
Vice President Product Management and Development
Christopher Smith brings 15 years of business experience in the telecommunications sector to Clarity, and possesses the full range of product development skills including engineering, fulfilment, pre-sales, sales, product management and strategy.
Chris joined Clarity in 2009 as Vice President Product Management and Development and is responsible driving forward Clarity’s visionary product developments.
Prior to joining Clarity, Chris served at Vice President, Product Management at Telcordia Technologies, where he was responsible for Telcordia’s next generation OSS product line and managed a customer portfolio of more than 130 customers. Chris also spent time as Director of Operations for Europe, Middle East & Africa at Syndesis, a leading OSS product company offering Service Fulfilment solutions to Tier 1 operators.
Chris developed his engineering and business skills at Alcatel in Australia, working in a number of roles including design and systems engineering.
Chris holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering (Elec.) (Hons.) from the University of New South Wales.

Douglas Gracie
Vice President Services
Douglas Gracie has been working in the telecommunications sector for 15 years and has vast experience in building and managing customer support teams, education services and partner delivery programs around the globe.
Douglas joined Clarity in 2009 as Vice President Services and is responsible for all project implementations, education, support and maintenance, and developing a partner delivery program (to include certification and training).
Prior to joining Clarity, Douglas was Vice President, Solution Delivery and then Vice President, Strategic Accounts at Telcordia Technologies. During that time, he led a major transformation for the group from a generic project delivery team to a high-value, subject matter expert based consulting team. Prior to Telcordia, Gracie spent 5 years as Senior Vice President for Services at Cramer where he carried global responsibility for revenues, resources and customer support/satisfaction, education programs and partner enablement as well as creating and leading a profitable team to support customers from pre-sales through to project implementation.
Douglas has completed the Advanced Leadership Programme at Cranfield Management School.

Tony Garcia
Vice President Sales & Alliances
Tony Garcia is responsible for leading and expediting Clarity’s alliances and new business expansion strategy and execution.
Prior to joining Clarity, Tony was Head of Business Transformation EMEA, at HP/EDS and he has also held posts at Telcordia (Vice President International Services & Strategic Accounts) and at Easynet / BSkyB (Group IT & Transformation Director).
Tony holds a BSc (Hons) and is a member of the IOD and the IEEE.

Bob Darwin
Vice President Utilities
Bob Darwin has more than 30 years’ experience working for both utilities and telecommunications organisations. He joined Clarity in May 2010 as Vice President Utilities to drive Clarity’s entry into the global utilities market.
Prior to joining Clarity, Bob was Managing Director of MCBT Group Consulting and has held key roles at Telstra, Aurora Energy, Southcorp International and the Hydro-Electric Corporation. He has also been involved in the development of many innovative utility and telecommunications solutions, including a world leading GPON and Broadband Over Power Line solution for Tasmania.
Bob has a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University in Victoria.
