Dr Ian Campbell
Executive Chairman & CEO
Ian has more than 37 years' experience in the technology, e-commerce and financial sectors. He was the co-founder of the privately owned CPS Group of Companies in 1970, and has been the Chairman and Managing Director of CPS since 1990. The CPS Group - a leading supplier of solutions to the financial services, border security and logistics sectors - became the major shareholder in Powerlan, and its subsidiary Clarity, in 2006.
Over the course of his career, Ian has continually demonstrated his capability to pioneer emerging technologies ahead of the market and identify opportunities to use technology to bring about reform in industry practices through technology and process re-engineering.
Recently, Ian was a regional winner in the Ernst & Young 2005 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in the category of Technology, Communications, E-commerce and Life Sciences.
Ian holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales.

Tony Kalcina
Founder
Tony Kalcina is responsible for helping formulate Clarity’s strategic direction and guiding the company’s resources to deliver on that vision.
Tony has 25 years experience in the global telecoms industry. His career includes 10 years at Telstra (OTC) where he started as an R&D Engineer and later held senior roles in Operations, Engineering and IT. Within Telstra he created and led an award winning 80 member operational support systems (OSS) development team. Tony then spent 3 years as an expatriate, initially as GM of IT in a newly established Malaysian telecoms company, and then as the founding CEO of a Malaysian IT company delivering BSS and OSS solutions, growing the business to annual revenues of $90m.
As Founder of Clarity, Tony conceived the Unified Operational Management vision, and led the company as its CEO for its first 10 years of operations - raising capital, growing the company to over 180 staff worldwide with annual revenues of $45m, taking Clarity public on the ASX in 2000 and merging with Powerlan in 2002. In 2002 he was appointed a Director on Powerlan's Board and became Chairman of Clarity in 2004.
Tony has a BE (Electrical Engineering) and BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Physics from the University of Sydney.

Jon Newbery
Chief Financial Officer
Jon Newbery has 20 years of management, finance, operational, and turnaround experience. He qualified as an accountant with Arthur Andersen in London, before moving to Warsaw, Poland to assist in establishing the consultancy’s presence there in 1991.
Jon moved to Australia in June 2000, where he joined Newport Capital Group as an investment director. While at Newport, he worked with young Australian companies advising on fund raising, restructuring and exit opportunities. In 2002, Jon established his own operational consulting business, where he successfully ran a number of early technology businesses, including a BSS software vendor. Jon joined Powerlan in May 2006 and is the group Chief Financial Officer, including Clarity.
Jon holds a BSc Physics from the University of Nottingham (England) and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Marylyn (Lyn) Woods
Director, Human Resources
Lyn has over 20 years’ experience in HR, most of them in senior management and executive roles with noted Australian companies and organizations, including ASIC and most reycently Freehills.
Lyn is a change management specialist, using skills and methodologies that are both transparent and effective and strongly geared towards learning and development programs to maximise staff potential.
Lyn has held a number of positions on boards and committees, including a voluntary role as board member of the Royal District Nursing Service and is a member of the Australian Institute of Management. Lyn joined Powerlan in December 2006 and is responsible for the HR function across the group, including Clarity.
Lyn holds a degree in Employee Relations and an MBA

Rohan Yogarajah
Vice President, Services
Rohan has a track record, spanning 20 years of delivering complex IT and Telecoms projects, including CRM, Order Management, Fraud Management and OSS/NMS to tier 1 carriers in Europe, Asia and Australasia. Rohan has a wealth of experience in the automation, integration and operationalisation of systems and processes in the telecoms domain. Prior to joining Clarity, Rohan spent several years with IBM and Australian billing vendor Atmosphera.
Having joined Clarity in 2000, Rohan has been involved in all major end to end OSS transformation projects undertaken by the company during this period, including Reliance Communications, PLDT, AAPT/Telecom New Zealand and Telekom Malaysia.
As Clarity’s VP of Services, Rohan is responsible for the delivery of high quality professional services to Clarity’s rapidly increasing client base. In his role, Rohan manages all of Clarity’s consulting, integration, support and program management divisions.

Scott Neylon
Vice President, Research & Development
Having worked in the telecommunications industry for almost 20 years Scott has a wealth of experience in the design, development and operation of Telco networks as well as the IT technology (OSS and BSS) essential to deliver and support customer services. Most recently Scott worked at Telecom New Zealand owned AAPT.
Having joined Clarity as VP of R&D in January 2007, Scott’s role is to apply his experience and knowledge of the Telco industry to the architecture and continual enhancement of Clarity’s Next Generation operational support system (OSS) platform. Scott is also responsible for growing the development team that supports the delivery of this platform to our customers and partners.
Scott has completed Postgraduate studies in IT and Business Management as well as professional and technical training in relevant industry technologies.

Raj Thangiah
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Raj has been working for over 15 years within the telecommunications domain. During this time, he has worked for telecommunications carrier GN Great Nordic, telecommunication systems integrator Sema Group and most recently the major billing vendor Convergys Corporation. Raj’s international experience in business development includes Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australasia. Typical career assignments have been the operational set up of new business units, as well as development and execution of turnaround and/or expansion strategies.
Raj joined Clarity in January 2005 to rebuild and grow Clarity’s sales and marketing capability. In this role Raj is focused on overseeing the strategic management of key customer accounts worldwide, the development of strategic alliances and implementing programs to achieve Clarity’s projected growth in new and existing markets.
Raj holds a BA (Hons) Economics from SOAS, University of London, and Postgraduate in Marketing from Westminster University.

William J. Tickner
Vice President, Europe & CIS
William has almost 20 years experience working in the technology industry. During this period, William was VP of Business Development at Geneva Technology (acquired in 2001 by Convergys Corporation) where he ran international marketing operations and global alliances with such leaders as Accenture, Capgemini and LogicaCMG. During 2001, he was General Manager of Geneva’s highly successful operations in SE Asia, where he oversaw the regional launch and led initial client business development with first revenues after just 6 months. William has also held senior communications sector sales, alliances and product marketing roles at IBM, CableData, Gandalf and most recently Datanomic.
William joined Clarity in November 2006 to build its European operation, with an initial focus on lead generation, business development, recruitment and marketing to establish the business.
William holds a MBA from Henley Management School, UK.
