Clarity Receives Purchase Order from Leading Bulgarian Operator
Sydney, 20 January 2010 – Clarity, the market leader in Unified Operational Support Systems (OSS), has received a purchase order for the first phase of a project to supply its technology platform to VIVACOM, Bulgaria's largest fixed/mobile operator and fastest growing ADSL provider.
Clarity’s OSS platform is targeted to help increase the efficiency of VIVACOM’s network operations and fieldforce logistics and to improve the customer experience through reducing fault resolution and provisioning times. Originally targeting fixed network services, the platform will provide a long-term solution for VIVACOM’s fixed-mobile convergence strategy and is expected to support the business through a nationwide rollout of next generation networks and services.
The project will be delivered over a period of two years, with the first phase due to be completed in June 2010.
VIVACOM is Bulgaria’s leading telecom services provider offering a full range of services including fixed and mobile telephony, high speed Internet and data transfer. It has over two million fixed line subscribers, 1.3 million mobile phone subscribers and over 300,000 Internet users in Bulgaria, a country of 7.5 million people.
